It was absolutely hilarious to watch them all watch the Spam skit the other night, everyone crowded in with, beside, and on Dad's knee as they roared with laughter at the high-pitched, "Spam, spam, spam, spam" chorus found on You Tube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8huXkSaL7o.
Naturally everyone wanted to try Spam, this product spoken of and even sung about, because being ages seven and under is all about experiencing with every sense possible. So today my husband took the youngest shopping and home they came, proudly carrying a can of Spam. They sang, they laughed, they all tried Spam. And they decided they liked it, some more than others. Ugh.
What a fun time tonight with a $3.49 can of Spam. Does this count as a cultural experience?
