Kickin' it on the West Coast

Our local Football Club (FC) had its annual kids' summer soccer camps and this year we splurged and enrolled our two oldest boys. It was money well spent I'm happy to say.
Each morning last week we dropped them off for two hours of practice with coaches and players from the FC. They encouraged the children to be positive with each other and with their learning new skills and above all to have fun. And they did! In the shadow of The Bridge, the mountains, and gorgeous Squamish carvings the boys learned a lot about teamwork, dribbling, and juggling the ball (on their knees).
They played their own World Cup the last morning and came away with FC shirts, a mini soccer ball, autographs, and fabulous memories. Now I have to convince them that they actually have to take off their soccer shirts so I can wash them!!
