Location, location, location

Sorry this photo is sideways. I give up on re-orientation because it's late. This is the message that greeted us upon our arrival at the community centre for swimming lessons: "CAUTION: Black bear sighting in area."

I have to say that information such as this would be ever so much more useful for parents not once we're safely inside the building lobby, but say, oh, maybe when we're in the parking lot before we take the lovely, winding wooded path to the recreation facility and definitely before we, say, take our time and let the children pick some blackberries at the nearby forest trail (thankfully not too far along I guess!) and then come into the community centre.
