Maybe it will help my boys unwind (pardon the sorry wool pun).
My husband's friend Mike once said that knitting is the least sexy thing a woman could do. Maybe. But it's still fun, his wife asserted and I seconded.
Teaching the boys to knit was actually very fun. I wasn't sure if I'd have fussing and frustration but they took turns sitting with me and learning in, wrap the wool around, pull it through, and cast it off. They particularly liked picking out their yarn (scarves being our goal) and cool needles.
An so far no one has tried to use his needles as a weapon. I'd call that a positive outcome!
