My four-year-old boy and his little friend had a great time with dressing up this afternoon.
He said: I’m Batman!
She said: I want to be Batman, too!
I found another cape, breastplate, and mask (plentiful around here), dressed her and said: You’re Batwoman!
She said: No. I’m Batmummy!
He then said: And I’m Batdaddy!

And off they scampered, caped crusaders with a mission to take care of domestic life. It was just too adorable for words.
My husband, when I recounted this and showed photo evidence laughed and asked if they still drive the Batmobile or have they had to settle for a Batvan now?

That is so sweet.
You have a good blog here! Looking forward to reading more.
Oh, thank you freshmd. I love reading yours - I absolutely *roared* at the birth stories. My cousin is an OB/Gyn back east and I have to send her the link to your blog. She'll no doubt be a fan.
