I've watched my boys share nicely at times, and not so nicely at others, over this year's holiday season. We really struggle to share the new Christmas toys of course, but I find it endlessly ironic that we have absolutely no trouble sharing germs. That we have perfected.
We are all, including their baby sister, on an antibiotic for the next 10 days to fight a respiratory infection that has us all coughing and wheezing. Four bottles of strawberry flavoured medicine neatly lined up and they angelically line up to wait their turn for their dose each day.
As for me, I find my capsule easier to take after yet another wakeful night with some Christmas chocolate. But I'm hiding that treat for myself from the children that because I'm not sharing. Even sick they have more energy than I!!
