Note to self: You will someday miss the sweet moments of nursing a babe overnight in the quiet stillness of an otherwise sleeping household. Cradling that sweet bundle in your arms in bed and drifting off to sleep together, a breastfeeding diad.
You will miss having little ones come crawling in to bed for a cuddle after a bad dream. Or because they woke and missed you.
You will sleep again, but until then remember that these moments are special and something you will treasure. Someday. When you are well rested and having to wake sleepy teenagers.
